2). For the well-being of everybody, scientists
can contribute to its preservation. This goes via knowledge
of the cycle (picture 3), ,
the evaluation of reserves to prevent dryness (picture
4), optimization of water usage (prevent waste)
by storing, treating, recycling, cleaning for distribution
and that way answering to the most fundamental needs of
humankind.
In some cases, water is a real danger to the safety of
man and goods. Researchers can contribute to the minimization
of disasters connected to water (picture
5) by using their knowledge in the case of extreme
emergency or for the planning of urbanization.
